INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center Wins Consumer Choice Award
For 18th Consecutive Year
OKLAHOMA CITY – INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center is the hospital of choice in the Oklahoma City area. The health care system was recently named a Consumer Choice Award winner by the people of the community.
Consumers in the Oklahoma City market ranked INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center at the top of the list based on four essential consumer metrics: Best Overall Quality, Best Image/Reputation, Best Doctors and Best Nurses.
Each year, National Research Corporation recognizes hospitals whose consumers rate them as having the best quality and image in their area. This is the 18th year NRC has given the awards and it is the 18th year INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center has received the honor. INTEGRIS Baptist is one of only a handful of hospitals in the country to have earned the distinction every year since the award was founded.
“It is a great honor to be recognized year after year by the people we serve,” says Tim Johnsen, president of INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center. “We are extremely grateful for the trust the community has when it comes to selecting us as their top health care provider. It also reflects our unwavering mission to improve the health of the people and communities we serve. I am very proud of our expert team of physicians and nurses and the many others who demonstrate this commitment to excellence each and every day.”
The annual NRC Healthcare Market Guide is the nation’s largest and most comprehensive study of its kind. No other study used to measure hospital performance and preferences contains more consumer responses than the NRC study.
Winners are determined by consumer perceptions on multiple quality and image ratings collected in the company’s Ticker survey. This study surveys more than 250,000 households representing more than 450,000 consumers in the contiguous 48 states and the District of Columbia. From the households surveyed, 3200 hospitals named by consumers are analyzed and ranked based on their core statistical areas, as defined by the U.S. Census Bureau, with the winning facilities being ranked the highest.
