Oklahoma doctor, Mario Coleman, M.D., is a pediatric neurologist in Oklahoma City.
Dr. Coleman grew up in Guthrie and attended Langston University where he graduated with distinction. He obtained a Masters degree in Public Health from Columbia University in New York and was involved in clinical research at the New York Neurological Institute for several years prior to pursuing a career in medicine. It was there that he first recognized his interest in Neurology. He returned to Oklahoma to attend medical school at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. He soon discovered that he also had a keen interest in pediatrics and care for children with special needs. He completed residency training in Pediatrics at the University of Oklahoma. Dr. Coleman completed his adult and child Neurology training at the University of Washington and Seattle Children’s Hospital. He is very happy to be back in Oklahoma helping provide needed care and expertise for children with neurological diseases. He lives in the greater Oklahoma City area with his wife and four children.
