INTEGRIS Health is Oklahoma’s largest health system with hospitals, rehabilitation centers, physician clinics, mental health facilities, independent living centers and home health agencies located throughout much of the state.
INTEGRIS Health Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation. It was organized under the laws of the state of Oklahoma for charitable, scientific and educational purposes and specifically to engage in the delivery of health-care services and related activities.
INTEGRIS Health is governed by an 11 to 15-member board of directors made up of business and community leaders from across the state. It's managed by President and Chief Executive Officer Bruce Lawrence, with the assistance of senior staff in the areas of physician services, facility operations, strategic services and finance. INTEGRIS Health Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation formed in 1983 to serve as the parent corporation for, and to provide management and administrative support to, INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center Inc., another Oklahoma not-for-profit corporation that operates a tertiary care hospital in northwest Oklahoma City.
In 1994, INTEGRIS merged with Baptist Healthcare of Oklahoma, an event that brought to the organization a network of outstanding rural hospitals across the state. In 1995, INTEGRIS merged with Southwest Medical Center, an acute-care hospital in southwest Oklahoma City. Each of these organizations brings a rich history of serving Oklahomans. INTEGRIS Health, along with these and a number of other affiliated entities, form the INTEGRIS Health system.
The History of INTEGRIS
INTEGRIS Health is led by our mission, our vision and our values.
- Our Mission - To improve the health of the people and communities we serve.
- Our Vision - Most Trusted Name in Health Care - Learn More
- Our Values - Love, Learn & Lead - Learn More
We feel these three statements say a lot about who we are as an organization. Oklahoma is consistently ranked as one of the nation's unhealthiest states and we want to do everything we can to change that ranking. We also value trust as a guiding principle and aspire to be recognized for it, and we have core values that guide us in all we do for our patients.
At INTEGRIS Health, our goal is to be both accountable and transparent to our patients and the public. What do we mean by that? Being accountable means being “responsible” or “answerable.”

Our mission is to improve the health of the people and communities we serve. We learned a long time ago that we can’t fully care for our community by staying exclusively within the walls of our facilities.
That’s why “returnship” is such an important part of our philosophy. What is returnship? It’s giving back part of ourselves to the communities we serve.
