David W. Vanhooser, MD
Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery
Dr. David Vanhooser is a Board Certified Cardiovascular Surgeon with 25 years experience. Vanhooser received his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma in 1982. He completed a residency and board certification in General Surgery, as well as a residency in Cardiovascular Surgery at the Carolinas Heart Institute in Charlotte, N.C.
Prior to moving to Enid, Vanhooser was a partner with the Oklahoma Cardiovascular Associates, P.C. in Oklahoma City. He was an active member of the heart and lung transplantation program at The INTEGRIS Nazih Zuhdi Transplant Institute. He then established the open heart surgery program at INTEGRIS Bass Baptist Health Center in 2001 and relocated to the Enid community.
He is a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons. His practice encompasses all aspects of open heart surgery, thoracic surgery and vascular surgery, specializing in endovascular procedures.

John Schrader, M.D.

Dr. John Schrader specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease. Schrader received his bachelors and masters degrees from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln and his medical degree from Creighton University School of Medicine.
In 2008, he completed a Cardiovascular Interventional Fellowship from The Cardiac Center at Creighton University Medical Center Department of Internal Medicine in Omaha, Nebraska. He completed an Internal Medicine Residency and a Cardiovascular Diseases Fellowship through the Creighton University Medical Center.
Schrader is a member of the American College of Cardiology, American Heart Association, American College of Physicians, American Medical Association and the Nebraska Medical Association.

Douglas Brown, M.D.

Douglas Brown, M.D. specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease. He has served Enid and Northwest Oklahoma for more than 30 years.
Brown received his medical degree from Indiana University in 1972. He completed an internship and residency at the University Of Cincinnati College Of Medicine. Brown then completed a fellowship in Cardiology at both Baylor University Medical Center and at the University Of Cincinnati College Of Medicine. Brown is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
