A Community Service of INTEGRIS Bass Baptist Health Center and Northwest Oklahoma Osteopathic Foundation
Senior Life Network offers a variety of exercise classes to fit your needs. We strengthen opposing muscle groups and work on balance and coordination for a total body workout. Exercise is one of the most important tools for remaining healthy - in both mind and body. A variety of classes are offered each week by certified trainers. Newcomers to exercise classes are requested to sign a health history/ release form and complete a form which we will fax to your doctor for approval.

Senior Life Network Exercise Classes
Bench Step Aerobics
Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 8:30-9:30 a.m.
Starts with a one minute warm up and stretch, four inch risers are used for the cardio series. After a five minute heart rate check and water break, concentration is on the upper and lower body with abdominals, finishing with a ten minute stretch on the floor. This class offers a vigorous work-out. Sturdy shoes and comfortable clothing recommended.
Low Impact Aerobics
Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 9:35-10:35 a.m.
Starts with a warm-up and stretch, works into a cardio section and a toning and condition routine. Concludes with a cool down and stretch on the floor. Sturdy shoes and comfortable clothing recommended.
Strength and Flexibility
Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 10:40-11:30 a.m.
This class is conducted in chairs or standing (no jumping up and down off the floor). You will work both upper and lower body. The class works on balance and coordination, as well as strengthening various muscle groups. Street clothes acceptable.
Tuesdays and Thursdays - 9:35 - 10:35 a.m.
The gentle movements of Tai Chi reduce stress and offer other health benefits.
Yoga Level 1
Monday, Wednesday, Friday - 11:35 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Class starts with "Sun Salute" then focuses on standing or sitting poses, finishing with relaxation and savasana. Comfortable clothing recommended.
Yoga Level 2
Tuesday, Thursday - 8:30-9:30 a.m.
Class starts with "Sun Salute" and then works on a theme, such as hip or shoulder openers, twists, abdominal strengthening or knee work, ending with relaxing savasana. Comfortable clothing recommended.
Wednesday - 5:45 p.m.; Saturday - 9:30 a.m.
Participant has basic knowledge of yoga positions. Comfortable clothing recommended.
