Extensive Cardiology Care

Untitled Document

Through its partnership with board-certified cardiologist Paul E. Callicoat, M.D., Grand Lake Regional Cardiology at INTEGRIS Grove Hospital is proud to offer the very best cardiovascular services in the community. And with the addition of a newly constructed, state-of-the-art Catheterization Lab, the heart care available to area residents has reached a new standard of excellence.

Using the finest specialized technology, the Cardiac Catheterization Lab allows Dr. Callicoat to visualize vital blood vessels in the heart and throughout the body and then diagnose and treat various cardiovascular conditions. This includes the treatment of patients experiencing life-threatening heart attacks.

What procedures are performed in the catheterization lab?

  • Coronary Angiography and Angioplasty
  • Peripheral Angiography and Angioplasty
  • Permanent Pacemaker Placement
  • Cardiac and Peripheral Stent Placement, including both bare-metal and drug-eluting stents

The new lab space was designed to enhance Dr. Callicoat’s expert team’s abilities to perform life-saving procedures. It includes six private patient rooms for pre-treatment preparation and post-treatment recovery.

Together, INTEGRIS Grove Hospital and Dr. Callicoat, M.D., F.A.C.C., F.S.C.A.I., have helped deliver and define state-of-the-art health care in northeast Oklahoma.
