Many of us often take personal independence for granted. - Hand therapy
- Balance training
- Exercise programs
- Wound care
- Joint replacement rehabilitation
- Speech and swallowing impairments
INTEGRIS Jim Thorpe Rehabilitation is staffed by highly skilled physical therapists and physical therapist assistants who can help improve strength, balance, ambulation and motion through evidence-based treatment – in other words, techniques and equipment that have been proven to work . We also have experienced occupational therapists and occupational therapist assistants to help with self-care and activities of daily living. In addition, our speech pathologist is ready to assist with speech or swallowing disorders.
Our inpatient (acute care) services provide treatments to postoperative and nonsurgical hospital-bound patients, with pain control and mobility as the primary goals. We also offer school-based services for school-age children whose disabilities affect learning. For home-based patients, we provide home health services that focus on independence in care and progress to community activities.
Knowing that insurance for therapy services varies, we also offer a financial counselor who will work with individual patient needs, whether it’s double-checking coverage to avoid unexpected costs or setting up a payment plan.
