CAMP BANDAGE
Camp Bandage was adopted by INTEGRIS Grove Hospital in 1991. Through the years, young people have been taught various different aspects of health and safety. This program is made successful through combined efforts of nursing students from Northeastern A&M College, Grove EMS, Afton and Kansas Vo-Tech Allied Health, INTEGRIS Grove General Hospital, Grove High School Key Club, Grove Police Department, Sadie the Clown, GRDA officers, Grove Area Fire Departments, Grove Area Fire Clowns, REC Crewmen, City of Grove and Grove Emergency Management Services.
KATHY ROBBINS CANCER MEMORIAL
KRCM was developed in 2001 by the foundation to help cancer stricken patients of Delaware County with the unexpected costs of this disease.
PEOPLE IN NEED (PIN) FUND
The People In Need fund was created for those employees and patients of INTEGRIS Grove Hospital who are in dire financial need, e.g., medications, medical financial assistance etc. Criteria has to be met -- and the PIN board makes final approval.
TRUTH AND CONSEQUENCES
A program that encourages teens to make healthy choices about their sexuality. Truth and Consequences is a program that focuses on sexually transmitted disease and pregnancy prevention. Although the program stresses that abstinence is the ONLY guaranteed way to completely be free of unwanted pregnancy and disease, consequences to their decisions are thoroughly discussed.
HOME HEALTH FUND
Patients of INTEGRIS Grove Hospital might need follow up care in the home upon dismissal. The Home Health Fund is designated to help those patients with financial needs.
DEFIBRILLATOR CAMPAIGN
After three recent near-death episodes in the Grand Lake area, the foundation unanimously approved to move forward with a new campaign to purchase portable defibrillators for all public schools in Delaware County. We have placed 32 defibrillators in area schools and have trained more than 350 people in CPR. In 2003 Gov. Brad Henry presented the foundation and INTEGRIS Grove General the Community Involvement Award for fostering this program which the foundation initiated in May 2002.
QUALITY IMPROVEMENT GRANTS
The Grove General Hospital Foundation awards up to $10,000 annually to departments with INTEGRIS Grove that improve quality patient care. To date the foundation has given back more than $60,000 in grant money to INTEGRIS Grove Hospital.

Volunteer Opportunities
Cherry Reds Giving Back For Nearly Forty Years

Since 1964 the Cherry Reds have been providing services to INTEGRIS Grove Hospital. Responsibilities include delivering beverages to patients, families and visitors, delivering mail to departments throughout the hospital, working in surgery, cafeteria, information desk at both the hospital and the Ambulatory Care Center, gift shop, administration, pastoral care, human resources, marketing, risk, Practice management, women's health, west/south, ACCESS, business services, accounting and purchasing.
Through the years, our volunteers have provided ultrasound equipment for women's health, lift equipment for physical therapy, the security system for the emergency room, patient beds, bone density equipment, ongiong supplies for the newborn hearing screening program, and educational software.
The warm smile and love they offer to patients and staff of INTEGRIS Grove cannot be surpassed
Volunteering is not only satisfying, but convenient. In many areas, they can work around their own schedule. A typical work week for a volunteer is a 4-hour shift in the morning or afternoon once a week. For those 14 and over, the auxiliary also has a Volun-Teen program.
Community Service
Our Mission: To improve the health of the people and communities we serve.
INTEGRIS Grove has always been community oriented since November 1963. If it were not for the community's support, INTEGRIS Grove Hospital would not have opened its doors.
Today, INTEGRIS Grove continues to provide a wide variety of community outreach programs. In addition, employees of INTEGRIS Grove give thousands of hours participating on local boards and councils including, but not limited to, the Grove Area Chamber of Commerce, Grove City Council, Delaware County Community Partnership, Grove Education Foundation for Excellence, Delaware County United Way and the Delaware County Children's Special Advocacy Network.

Community Screening Program

Largest Health Fair is in September at REC Day in Grove
Blood cholesterol, blood sugar and blood pressure screenings are now handled on a request basis. If the screenings are out of range, letters are sent to our physicians to notify them.
Job Shadowing
High School Job Shadow - several clinics and hospital departments. The purpose of the job shadowing program is to educate students of the medical career possibilities available at INTEGRIS Grove.
Memory Loss Seminar

Purpose: INTEGRIS Grove staff’s willingness to talk to area civic groups, schools and businesses on their area of expertise.
Diabetes Extravaganza
Date: March
Purpose: To make the community aware of the resource available for diabetics and their families in northeastern Oklahoma. Approximately 500 people.
Student Governing Board
Date: School year September - May
Purpose: To educate and involve high school seniors in the breadth of health care services provided at INTEGRIS Grove and the management thereof. Also, to provide students information regarding possible careers in health care.
Implemented at Grove in 2000-2001, two $1,000 scholarships are given each year to Grove and Jay High School seniors who are entering the health care field. Two more scholarships will be given in 2009.
School To Work

A partnership created in 1995 with Grove Public Schools, students are placed in various departments to focus on career exploration, information and employment. This includes job shadowing and 3rd Graders Go to Work.
Camp Bandage
Date: October
Purpose: To teach area children K-6 basic first aid and other safety prevention techniques. 2008 was the 18th annual Camp Bandage that averages over 2,800 in attendance and covers a 3 county area.
Camp Bandage Junior

Purpose: To teach area pre-school children basic first aid and other safety prevention techniques. Implemented in 1992. 2009 will be its 17th year. Approximately 800 students attend
Truth And Consequences

In an effort to encourage students to make right and healthy choices regarding their sexuality, INTEGRIS Grove and other community leaders united to implement Truth and Consequences - Making Healthy Choices. The program is presented to 7th and 8th grade students of Jay and Grove Middle Schools.
WHALE
The Volunteers at INTEGRIS Grove General Hospital offer a statewide project called WHALE. “WHALE” is an acronym for “We Have A Little Emergency.”
WHALE is an identification program for children under the age of four that are involved in an automobile accident. The identification helps emergency personal in the event that the driver of the vehicle is unable to assist in giving information in regards to the child.
This program is now recognized and used by emergency personnel in 34 states.
