Courageous Amputees is a support network for individuals and family members working to overcome limb loss. Returning home after rehabilitation presents many potential challenges. INTEGRIS Jim Thorpe Rehabilitation offers this rehabilitation support group for to current patients, past patients and their families to address the special challenges faced when returning home after an illness or injury. Courageous Amputees allows for the opportunity to discuss rehabilitation issues, obtain information and education regarding your illness, injury and/or disability that has resulted or will result in an amputation. This is a time to share with others your own unique experiences from rehabilitation and the life lessons learned on a day to day basis.
Courageous Amputees meets from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. the third Tuesday of every month.
This group meets in the Jones Education Room, located on the 1st Floor in the main INTEGRIS Jim Thorpe Rehabilitation building on the NE corner of the INTEGRIS Southwest Medical Center campus.
Not able to attend in person? We have virtual connection to support group available. Please contact Greg for details.
