Aquatic therapy is often a fundamental source of movement, exercise and mobility for the person with a spinal cord injury. A time is set aside for all spinal cord injury patients peer support, in addition to one-on-one therapy sessions.

The driver assessment and rehabilitation program is a center-based, out-patient program for individuals whose driving ability may be impaired. Staffed by state-certified driver educators and occupational therapists, the program consists of individualized driver assessment and driver training.

Community outings are routinely scheduled and are focused on the individual needs of the patient. Activities the patient participated in prior to his or her injury are emphasized, and new activities are incorporated in the community setting.

Our spinal cord injury program incorporates adaptive equipment and environment control devices that can be used by patients to promote independence while in the center.

We also offer a wide range of community-based support programs and educational services including wheelchair sports and the Central Oklahoma Spinal Cord Injury Association.

Long-term disability management, follow-up care, continuing education and problem solving are always available. In addition, a developing and growing component in our discharge program includes a follow-up telerehabilitation program for patients from rural communities.
