Partial Hospitalization and Intensive Outpatient Services
Some problems don't require around-the-clock care in a hospital, but instead may be addressed through a lesser level of care. Partial hospitalization is provided three to five days a week in a structured group setting. Participants in this program spend the day in group and private therapy sessions, developing coping strategies, and working through the specific issues they face. Most people spend two to three weeks in the program which is often covered by insurance.
Through Decisions Intensive Outpatient Program participants receive group, individual and family therapy through either the day or evening program.
Program services include:
- Free assessment
- Family participation component
- After-care support group
- Medication management by a psychiatrist
- Individual, group and family therapies with a qualified mental health professional
