Dr. Alan Hola is the transplant nephrologist for the Nazih Zuhdi Transplant Institute. He is board certified in both nephrology and internal medicine.
He completed his nephrology fellowship at Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York. He then completed his transplant nephrology fellowship at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine, in Chicago, Ill.
He is fluent in several languages other than English including Russian and Arabic. He currently serves as a scientific advisory board member of the National Kidney Foundation and is a member of the American Society of Nephrology. In 2007, he received the physician recognition award from the American Medical Association. He is also active in research and has numerous published publications. We are very excited to have him as a member of the Nazih Zuhdi Transplant Institute.
