The James R. Daniel Cerebrovascular and Stroke Center at INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center and the James R. Daniel Stroke Center at INTEGRIS Southwest Medical Center recently received the American Heart Association/ American Stroke Association’s Get With The Guidelines®–Stroke Gold Plus Quality Achievement Award. The award recognizes commitment and success in implementing excellent care for stroke patients, according to evidence-based guidelines.

The INTEGRIS Stroke Center of Oklahoma™ at INTEGRIS Southwest Medical Center has received exciting news from the Joint Commission that it has been granted Disease-Specific Care (DSC) certification as a Primary Stroke Center. There are only 300 in the United States. This certification demonstrates the center’s commitment to excellence and exceptional efforts in fostering evidence-based clinical outcomes by the integration and coordination of quality stroke care.
MDA Designates Center for Lou Gehrig's Disease at "Team Hope" Dedication Friday

The MDA Neuromuscular Center at INTEGRIS Southwest Medical Center has been designated as the site of a new MDA/ALS Center. This center is one of only 36 in the nation and the only one in Oklahoma to receive the designation from the Muscular Dystrophy Association. A dedication ceremony will be held Friday, May 19th at 4:00 pm at the Center located on the 5th Floor of the Medical Plaza Building on the INTEGRIS Southwest Campus, 4421 S. Western, Oklahoma City, OK. Governor Brad Henry, MDA National Vice-President, and First Lady Kim Henry will be on hand for the ceremony along with INTEGRIS CEO Stan Hupfeld, Bart Conner and Nadia Comaneci.
