Inpatient

INTEGRIS Pediatrics has three pediatric general surgeons available to meet your child’s surgical needs. If your child is scheduled for an elective procedure we encourage you to call to schedule a tour of the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (if applicable) and 10 west Pediatrics a week prior to the surgery date. Call 949-4100 to speak with the Team Manager to arrange a time.

Pre-Post Transplants

INTEGRIS Pediatrics specializes in liver transplantation care. In coordination with the Nazih Zuhdi Transplant Institute, the child requiring a liver transplant is followed closely through all stages of the transplant. A team of social workers, case managers, clinic coordinators, pharmacists, physicians and nurses work together to offer highly specialized liver transplant care.

Immediately following transplant the child will be in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit cared for by highly trained nurses and physicians. When the child is stable they will be transferred to the Pediatric Unit to help the family transition to going home.

Medical

Common childhood illnesses often require a child to be hospitalized. Our staff excel in caring for children with asthma, pneumonia and gastrointestinal illnesses.

Cuddler Program

Having a child in the hospital is a stressful time for the family. Although we highly encourage a family member to stay with the hospitalized child to ease the stress on the patient, we recognize there are times when a parent is unable to stay. INTEGRIS Pediatrics offers a Cuddler Program- a core group of specially trained volunteers- that will stay with your child if you are unable to. This program is arranged through Social Services and requires notice for arrangements to be made.

If you are interested in becoming a Cuddler, contact Volunteer Services at 405-949-3183.
