INTEGRIS Health is proud to announce Lakeside Women’s Hospital as the newest member of the INTEGRIS Health network. This new partnership brings together two Oklahoma-owned and operated health care entities to make a unified commitment to the women of our state.
The goal of this new collaboration is to create a synergy of services, technology and resources provided by Lakeside and INTEGRIS Health to greatly improve the overall health and wellness of the women of Oklahoma. Patients of Lakeside will now have direct access to INTEGRIS Health’s neonatal intensive care unit (NICU Level I), as well as INTEGRIS’ extensive educational programs and other medical services.
Bruce Lawrence, President and chief executive officer of INTEGRIS Health, says the alignment solidifies INTEGRIS Health as the industry leader in women’s health services in the Oklahoma City area.
“Our interest in Lakeside Women’s Hospital is one that includes a great amount of respect for the way their physicians and staff have cared for women through the years,” Lawrence said. “Our intent as the new partner is to continue the same exemplary care both organizations are known for, with very little change to Lakeside’s current model of success.”
Deborah Huff, M.D., founding partner of Lakeside Women’s Hospital, says the move benefits both organizations.
“We believe the partnership will complete our sphere of care by providing our patients with benefits and services not previously offered at Lakeside,” Huff said. “These include direct access to high quality cardiology, oncology and orthopedic specialists, as well as a wide variety of educational programs. The additional specialties offered by INTEGRIS will help us ensure good health for women during every stage of their life.”
In fact, both parties insist the patients themselves will notice no significant difference in the day-to-day operations. The medical staff will remain unchanged, as will the location. Current insurance plans and previously scheduled appointments, procedures and classes will also remain the same.
