About the Administrative Internship Program

INTEGRIS Health’s 10-week paid summer internship program provides an opportunity for highly motivated undergraduate and graduate students to work alongside senior leaders in various focus areas within Oklahoma’s largest not-for-profit healthcare system.

Interns will gain experience in healthcare management through real-world project work, leadership meeting attendance, and exposure to the operations of a large integrated health system. Additionally, interns will participate in learning, shadowing, and network opportunities, both individually and as a cohort. The INTEGRIS Health summer internship program provides an exciting hands-on healthcare administration experience for emerging healthcare leaders.

For the 2023 summer internship program, we are pleased to offer four internships with key departments within our organization. There is one position available per concentration. Individual department leaders will serve as your preceptor and guide your project work, while our administrative fellow will serve as the program supervisor.

Concentrations for the 2024 Program will include, but not limited to:

  • Finance
  • Strategy
  • Human Resources
  • Hospital Operations (Graduate School Only - to include accepted and incoming enrollees to accredited institutions)

Applicants are considered for all concentrations. After interviews are complete, applicants will submit a ranked list of preferred internship placements for consideration.

To qualify for this internship, applicants must currently be enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in health care administration, business administration, nursing, public health, health informatics, human resources, finance, or a related field. Recent graduates from these healthcare and business-related fields can also qualify.

To be considered for the internship program, applicants are required to submit the following documents:

  • Current Resume
  • Official or Unofficial Undergraduate/Graduate Transcript
  • Cover Letter (one-page maximum detailing why you are interested in an internship with INTEGRIS Health and how participation in this program would support your academic and career goals)

Interviews will be conducted as follows:

  • Round 1: March 15th - March 17th - Phone Interviews (15 minutes)
  • Round 2: March 20th - March 24th - Video Interviews (25 minutes)
  • Round 3: March 29th Offer Extensions
