Everyday Mindfulness: How to Sharpen your Natual Capacity to be Present

Mindfulness is simple but not easy. It's a natural capacity that can be enhanced with practice, and you don't have to be a seasoned meditator to begin. Please join the INTEGRIS James L. Hall, Jr. Center for Mind, Body and Spirit and Awake OKC for this 90-minute workshop. Collin Walke and Shannon Stephens will  begin with a discussion on the neuroscience behind mindfulness, and offer simple practices to integrate into your daily routine. The workshop culminates with a 15-minute guided meditation. Chairs and meditation cushions provided. Please bring a journal and pen.
