Eric Dedeke, M.D. is a board-certified family medicine physician with INTEGRIS Health Medical Group Lakepointe in Oklahoma City.
Dr. Dedeke brings both experience and compassion to the care of his patients, and strives to develop partnerships with them to enhance their well-being. His primary focus includes preventive care and sports medicine.
"There are many occasions when I have the privilege to make a difference in someone’s life, and there’s nothing better than that. My basis of primary care goes back to basic conversational and listening skills, and that’s a big lesson in medical school. There’s an old saying: If you listen well enough, the patient will tell you what the diagnosis is. Sometimes I have to get out of my own way to find out what that is by using simple active listening."
Dr. Dedeke is a native Oklahoman from Claremore. He attended the University of Oklahoma for both undergraduate studies and medical school, and went on to complete residency training at the University of Tennessee Knoxville, serving as chief resident. He served four years in the U.S. Air Force at Tinker Air Force Base, and acted as medical director of the family medicine clinic there before separating from active duty and joining INTEGRIS Family Care Northwest.
Dr. Dedeke practices medicine 50 percent of his time at INTEGRIS Health Medical Group Lake Pointe in Oklahoma City. He also is the Ambulatory Physician Lead for the INTEGRIS Informatics team, helping with system initiatives with our electronic medical record system.
In his medical practice, Dr. Dedeke sees patients of all age ranges from children to older adults.
Dr. Dedeke’s wife, Bronwyn Woods, M.D., is also a family medicine physician and they have two boys. He enjoys computers, reading, golf, travel and Oklahoma football.
