Joseph Crossno, M.D.

Joseph Crossno, M.D., Ph.D., is the Medical Director of Lung Transplantation at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center.  Dr. Crossno comes to Oklahoma from Denver, Colorado, where he served as a critical care physician and as an attending staff physician at the Lung Transplant Clinic of the University of Colorado Hospital.

Dr. Crossno earned his medical degree and his Ph.D. in biochemistry at the University of Tennessee College of Medicine in Memphis, Tennessee.  He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond, and his fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine at the University of Colorado Health Science Center.  From 2002 to 2020, Dr. Crossno was an instructor of pulmonary sciences and critical care medicine at the University of Colorado Health Science Center.  

Dr. Crossno received numerous awards for research during and after his medical training and is highly sought-after as a lecturer and conference speaker.  He has participated in several clinical trials, co-authored sixty papers for peer-reviewed journals, and co-written three chapters for medical books.

In his spare time, Dr. Crossno enjoys travelling and spending time with his family.
