Josiah Wagler, D.O.

Josiah Wagler, D.O. is a transplant surgeon at Nazih Zuhdi Transplant Institute at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center. Dr. Wagler completed his medical degree at Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine. During his general surgery residency at HonorHealth in Phoenix, Arizona, he developed an interest in transplant surgery. Dr. Wagler went on to specialize in Abdominal Transplant Surgery at Mayo Clinic Arizona, which leads the nation in liver and kidney transplants. There he developed additional interest in paired living donor kidney exchange. He became well versed in both the donor and recipient operations. He also trained in complex hepato-pancreato-biliary (HPB) surgery.

Dr. Wagler is board certified by the American Board of Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Transplant Surgeons. His field of surgical expertise includes laparoscopic living donor nephrectomies and transplantation of liver, kidney and pancreas. He also performs complex abdominal operations on the liver, pancreas and biliary tract. This includes surgeries for both benign and malignant conditions.
