After graduating and obtaining his medical degree at the University of Oklahoma, he completed his residency at the University of Colorado Department of Neurosurgery, where he also completed fellowship in complex spine surgery. "Patients can expect to be treated as I would treat a member of my family or myself. It’s equally important that their story be heard. After all, having a problem with one’s brain or spine can be a very scary, debilitating, life threatening, or painful experience. Patients should expect to be informed and active in the decision making process, and I feel this is a critical part of our duty.

While I am a surgeon, I am interested in pursuing all non-surgical means to the treatment of various conditions before considering surgical options, when its appropriate. When surgery is decided upon, I apply the fundamentals of my training and evolving technology to maximize the safety and benefit to patients."

Dr. Randhawa likes to spend time with friends or family, catching Thunder games, traveling, and volunteering in the community.
