Ryan F. Wicks, M.D., FACS is a board-certified general surgeon with INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
Dr. Wicks was born in Tucson, Arizona and graduated from the University of Arizona summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Ecology & Evolutionary Biology and a bachelor’s degree with Honors in History. He received his medical degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine where he graduated with Distinction and completed his residency in general surgery. Wicks received the outstanding General Surgery Resident in Trauma award and received the Aesculapian Award for teaching excellence from University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. He was elected into the Gold Humanism Honor Society and is a Certified Instructor in Advanced Trauma Life Support as well as being certified in the fundamentals of laparoscopic surgery. He is a member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons and American College of Surgeons.
