Saif Ullah Farooq, M.D.

Saif Ullah Farooq, M.D., is a board-certified, and fellowship-trained pulmonologist and critical care specialist with INTEGRIS Health Medical Group Southwest Medical Center in Oklahoma City.

Dr. Farooq earned his medical degree from Allama Iqbal Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan and completed his residency and fellowship training at the University of Oklahoma, Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. He is a member of the American Medical Association, American College of Chest Physicians, American Thoracic Society and the Society of Critical Care Medicine.

“I chose to be a physician because I love helping people. As a medical student, my mother had severe, persistent asthma and I wanted to help her any way I could, so my natural path in life was to study pulmonology.  There is no substitute for the sense of achievement that I feel when I cure a patient and see them feeling better. When they come back to my office with a big smile, I feel I am making a positive difference.”
