Sandra Rodriguez, M.D., began her internal medicine residency at the Universidad El Bosque in Bogota, Colombia. She completed residency and a cardiovascular disease fellowship at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock, Texas, followed by an advanced heart failure transplant fellowship at the University of Colorado Hospital in Aurora, Colo.

Rodriguez has received many awards and honors and has served as an investigator in multiple clinical trials, treating a broad range of diseases including catecholamine-refractory shock and sepsis.

Board certified in heart failure, cardiology and internal medicine, she is a member of professional organizations including Heart Failure Society of America and International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation.
