Talia Burneikis, M.D., is a board-certified and endocrine fellowship-trained general surgeon with INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center.
She received her medical degree from the University of Colorado. She completed her general surgery residency at the Cleveland Clinic in Ohio. After residency, she completed an American Association of Endocrine Surgeons accredited fellowship in Endocrine Surgery at the Cleveland Clinic.
In addition to general surgery, Dr. Burneikis has a specialized interest in endocrine surgery. Her interests include the use of bilateral parathyroid exploration, minimally invasive techniques for adrenal tumors and surgeon-performed ultrasound for thyroid and parathyroid disease.
As one of the only surgeons in Oklahoma who specializes in endocrine surgery, Dr. Burneikis looks forward to offering her expertise to patients. She hopes this will allow patients to feel comfortable that they are getting the best care close to home.
“I strive to meet patients wherever they are on their medical journey. It is an honor to usher patients through the next steps of a potentially scary diagnosis, or treatment course. With me, patients can expect to receive the best possible care from a high-volume endocrine surgeon.”
Dr. Burneikis lives in Oklahoma City with her husband, son and two dogs. She enjoys cooking and spending time outside with her family.
