More than medicine.

At INTEGRIS, your physician is more than a health care provider. They’re a friend and a trusted resource – someone you can go to for guidance and support. That’s why we’ve made it our goal to bring you to bring the best doctors from across the country – and around the world. But your physician is also your connection to the extensive services you’ve come to expect from INTEGRIS. Whether you want a referral to a specialist, information about advanced treatment or anything else we offer, you can always trust your INTEGRIS physician to lead you in the right direction.

Dr. Vavricka graduated from Ada High School in 1997 and went on to receive his Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Oklahoma in 2001. Upon his acceptance to medical school Dr. Vavricka was also commissioned as an Ensign in the United States Navy. He was subsequently awarded an MD in 2005 and started his residency in General Surgery at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City. After completing his residency in 2010 he was promoted to Lieutenant Commander and sent to the USS Enterprise (CVN-65) to serve as Ship's Surgeon. He completed two combat deployments to the Middle East aboard the Big E prior to her decommissioning in 2012. He was then sent to Naval Medical Center Portsmouth to serve as a Staff Surgeon at the busiest medical center in the Navy. He also served as an Assistant Professor of Surgery in the General Surgery residency program there teaching future Navy Surgeons. On completion of his service he moved back to Oklahoma to establish his practice with Southwest General Surgery.
