INTEGRIS Health Edmond

Edmond’s Only Level 1 Cardiac Arrest Center

It may surprise you to learn that when it’s time to choose a hospital in the middle of an emergency, paramedics will look to you to make the call. Luckily for Edmond and nearby communities, the choice is simple.

INTEGRIS Health Edmond’s 17-bed Emergency Department stands ready 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year, with some of the state’s shortest wait times and the best board-certified ER physicians with access to state-of-the art diagnostic imaging and other life-saving medical equipment.

Because that’s precisely what Edmond deserves.

Cardiac Rehabilitation

What’s more, Edmond’s ER is the only Level 1 Cardiac Arrest Center in Edmond, with an elite team of cardiologists. It’s also home to Edmond’s LifeNet technology. Through a partnership with the Edmond Fire Department, our cardiologists can monitor a patient’s cardiac rhythm remotely in real time. That means life-saving treatment can be activated immediately in our Edmond cath lab any time, day or night.

Likewise, for patients with stroke-like symptoms, our TeleStroke program allows for real-time neurological assessment and crucial early intervention when appropriate.

If you are experiencing a medical emergency such as chest pain, shortness of breath or other life-threatening illness, please call 911 or have someone take you to the closest emergency room immediately.

Episode 1: "No Warning"

Rex McGee: No Warning

Rex had been on the life-saving side of heart attacks for decades when an INTEGRIS RN encouraged him to get a HeartScan - a simple test that saved his life.

Urgent or Emergent?

If you have chest pain, major trauma, an apparent stroke or anything life threatening, you should always call 911 or go straight to the emergency room. But for anything that isn't life-threatening, a nearby urgent care is your best bet.
