Wash headgear in mild dishwashing soap and warm water, rinse thoroughly and air dry, as needed.

Replace interface (mask) frame when it shows visible signs of excessive wear. Headgear should be replaced when it is no longer elastic. Cushions should be replaced when an adequate seal cannot be maintained. Change disposable filters when discolored or dirty. Wash re-useable foam filter in warm soap water, rinse thoroughly and air dry. Filter must be thoroughly dry before replaced in machine.

Store clean items in a plastic bag or container. Clean outside of unit with a damp cloth.

HUMIDIFIER

A humidifier may reduce nasal dryness and/or irritation by adding moisture to the airflow of your machine. Please refer to your equipment manual for specific manufacturer cleaning instructions.

  • HUMIDIFIER (water) CHAMBER USE DISTILLED WATER ONLY, taking care to only add distilled water to the fill line.
  • Emptying and washing the humidifier daily will help prevent mold and bacteria growth.
  • Wash the water chamber daily using a mild dishwashing soap and warm water, rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry.
  • Never move your machine with water in the humidifier.
