Telepractice
Telepractice allows speech language pathologists to deliver professional services to clients in via video phone or video conferencing software.

- The INTEGRIS Health speech Telepractice program is an innovative option for schools to receive evidence-based speech therapy for their students with articulation, language and communication disorders.
- Since 1999, INTEGRIS Health speech-language pathologists have partnered with schools from all corners of the state to provide over 60,000 individualized Telepractice treatment sessions.
- The virtual sessions are simple: document and video cameras allow the INTEGRIS Health speech teletherapists to provide personalized instruction to students at their local school sites. Students learn to speak aloud from zoomed-in cameras and participate in games and therapy exercises geared specifically to their needs.

American Speech-Language-Hearing Association states Speech Telepractice is a form of telepractice that uses “telecommunication technology to deliver professional services at a distance. Telepractice may be used to overcome barriers of access to services caused by distance, unavailability of specialists and/or sub-specialists, and impaired mobility.
Studies have show equivalent efficacy results with face-to-face therapy.
