INTEGRIS offers acupuncture through our Integrative Medicine Clinic every Tuesday morning at the Wellness Center at INTEGRIS Cancer Institute and every Tuesday afternoon through the INTEGRIS James L. Hall Jr. Center for Mind, Body & Spirit in Building D at INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center.

Acupuncture is one of the oldest, most common medical practices in the world. Based on ancient Chinese medicine dating back thousands of years, it has been used to diagnose, treat and prevent illnesses. In conjunction with standard Western medicine practices, acupuncture can help maximize the effectiveness of medicine and reduce potential side effects. In 2003 the World Health Organization published a report about clinical trials researching the effectiveness of acupuncture, discussing more than 100 indications across the following conditions: psychological, neurological, musculo-skeletal, respiratory, gastrointestinal, gynecological, cardiovascular and other conditions.
