Massage Therapy for Cancer Patients


Susan Hawkins, CMT, Hands for Health LLC, received additional massage certifications specific to cancer patients from Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and MD Anderson Cancer Center. She has provided massage therapy services for INTEGRIS PACER Fitness Center in Oklahoma City for more than 15 years.

Massage therapy services are available for all cancer patients, family members and support teams.

Yoga for Cancer Patients

Gentle Yoga
Monday / Wednesday – 4:30 p.m.
Tuesday / Thursday – 8:15 a.m.
Friday - 9 a.m.
Troy and Dollie Smith Wellness Center: Conference Room A

This fun class is great for increasing flexibility and releasing tension. You will learn how to coordinate your breathing with gentle movements, stretching and gentle yoga postures modified for cancer patients. There is no need to be especially strong or flexible to receive the full benefits.

Restorative Yoga
Monday / Wednesday – 5:45 p.m.
Tuesday / Thursday – 10 a.m. and 11:15 a.m.

A gentle healing form of yoga that is practiced with a variety of props to provide a supportive environment for total relaxation. Appropriate equipment will be supplied.

Meet Our Acupuncturist

We would like to introduce our acupuncturist, Seneca Dewbre, MAOM, LAc. Seneca has a Masters of Acupuncture and Oriental medicine and is currently completing her Doctorate specialization in Gynecology. Additionally, she is certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine and licensed by the Texas Medical Board. Oklahoma does not have a licensing certification for acupuncturists at this time. She has experience in both private practice as well as outpatient services within a hospital setting.
