You may have already heard that INTEGRIS announced a clinical collaboration with a world-renowned health system. INTEGRIS is now a member of the Mayo Clinic Care Network.

AskMayoExpert

AskMayoExpert is a point of care reference tool designed by Mayo Clinic physicians. This concise resource offers disease management, care guidelines, treatment recommendations and reference material for a wide variety of medical conditions. Any INTEGRIS and affiliate medical staff, nurse or clinician will be able to access AskMayoExpert. 

By activating your online account, you will be able to access AskMayoExpert – a point-of-care tool that offers clinical information on hundreds of medical conditions, allowing you to draw upon the collective knowledge of Mayo colleagues.

INTEGRIS Mayo Clinic Care Network eConsults Guide

If the AskMayoExpert does not answer your questions, you may request an eConsult from a Mayo Clinic physician in your area of specialty for more challenging or complex medical conditions. The eConsult allows an INTEGRIS physician and affiliate to electronically solicit a second opinion from a Mayo Clinic specialist. 

We want to ensure you have a timely eConsult process experience. Therefore, to prevent any delays in the process, please make sure you have the following readily accessible before starting the submission process.

Clinical Summary Notes

  • General supporting patient information
  • Primary reason for the request
  • Specific question being asked in the eConsult
  • Summary of the medical problem 

Medical Documentation

Medical documentation in chronological order – current to oldest – pertinent to the specific question being asked in the eConsult 

Key Reports

Completed reports within the past 12 months pertinent to eConsult including but not limited to

  • Pathology
  • Microbiology
  • Radiology
  • Operative
  • Labs
  • Endoscopy

Images

If imaging was completed outside INTEGRIS, please have the DICOM images burned to CD and ready for pickup.

How to Request an eConsult

  1. The eConsult form is now an order in Epic. Click here for instructions on how to place the order. 
  2. If you do not have access to Epic.

    2. Alternatively you can fax the eConsult request.
