Psalm 23
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not be in want. He makes me
lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, He restores
my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will
fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort
me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You
anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and love will
follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the
LORD forever.
Psalm 27:7
Hear my voice, O Lord, when I call; be gracious to me and answer me.
Psalm 46:1-3
God is our refuge and strength,
A very present help in trouble,
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change,
Though the mountains shake in the heart of the sea;
Though its waters roar and foam,
Though the mountains tremble with its tumult.
Psalm 46:10
Be still and know that I am God.
Psalm 57:1
Be merciful to me, O God . . . for in thee my soul takes refuge, in the shadow of thy wings I will take my refuge.
Isaiah 44:22-23
I have swept away your offenses like a cloud, your sins like the morning
mist. Return to me, for I have redeemed you. Sing for joy, O heavens,
for the LORD has done this; shout aloud, O earth beneath. Burst into
song, you mountains, you forests and all your trees, for the LORD has
redeemed Jacob, God displays glory in Israel.
