The school year is starting, and bullying can be a common experience for many children and adolescents. Surveys indicate that as many as half of all children are bullied at some time during their school years, and at least 10 percent are bullied on a regular basis.

The school year is starting, and bullying can be a common experience for many children and adolescents. Surveys indicate that as many as half of all children are bullied at some time during their school years, and at least 10 percent are bullied on a regular basis.

Join the INTEGRIS Hispanic Initiative to learn more about this mental health problem facing our state and our nation. The information you will receive can help you to detect the warning signs of bullying, help you better identify victims and the bullies themselves, as well as direct you to available resources to help put a stop to such behavior.

The presentation will be in Spanish from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 29, at INTEGRIS Southwest Medical Center, 4200 S. Douglas Ave., in the basement of the Medical Office Building.
